Isle-Fly Ltd is the private air charter arm of Jersey Jet Centre, a company founded in Jersey by two local aviation businessmen, Colin Wright and Paul Sabin.
Both Colin and Paul started their aviation careers in Jersey in the late 1970’s, working with Air Atlantique, a local aviation company running a small air taxi service. At the time there were several companies in the island providing air taxi services in 6 to 8 seat twin engine aircraft. Over the years these companies have disappeared, mainly expanding into larger aircraft, leaving the island or being taken over by multi-national companies.
Although the island is well served in corporate jets catering to the high net worth market, the smaller more ‘utility’ private air charter aircraft are no longer available.
Recognising this gap in the market, Colin and Paul decided to re-introduce the concept of air charter to Jersey. Colin’s background in operations, maintenance and finance coupled with Paul’s commercial pilot expertise and his previous role as MD of Blue Islands ensures Jersey Jet Centre and Isle-Fly offer a reliable and professional service to Islanders.
Isle-fly is a whole-aircraft charter giving you control to decide the time of departure, itinerary and destination. It is ideal for corporate trips, saving connection times, hotel costs and flights to airfields not served by scheduled airlines.
Isle-Fly can tailor an aircraft to your specific needs. So in addition to the Isle-Fly fleet, charters can be arranged for: longer flights requiring a jet or a larger aircraft and for specialist roles such as freight, survey or other types of special missions.
All Isle-Fly chartered aircraft are operated to the highest commercial standards of maintenance, crew training and insurance under Air Operators Certificates issued by the Civil Aviation Authority.
